Take a group out. Bring everyone back.

WeHike gives clubs, guides and agencies one place to run an outing: publish it, fill it from a waitlist, decide with the weather, count heads at the meeting point and close the day once everyone is accounted for.

The life of an outing

Every outing goes through the same five steps. WeHike handles the routine work at each one.

  1. Draft

Set the date and start time, drop the meeting point on the map, add a parking note, the number of places, the RSVP deadline, the required level and the gear list. Only you and your co-organizers see it.

  2. Published

Hikers find it on the map, or through your invite link or code if you keep it private. They confirm the level and the gear in one tap and join. Once it is full, the waitlist takes over.

  3. Locked

At the RSVP deadline, 24 hours before the start unless you change it, the list locks. The weather card gives a go, caution or no-go verdict for the hike window. You go, postpone or cancel, and send the final briefing.

  4. Ongoing

Participants check in at the meeting point, within 300 m. You see the headcount at a glance, and who is still missing.

  5. Done

Close the outing once everyone is accounted for. Attendance is recorded, and participants are invited to rate the trail and report its condition.

Tools for every outing, on every plan

Capacity and waitlist
Capacity includes you: an outing for 12 leaves 11 places. When someone leaves, the next person on the waitlist is offered the place and has a set time to confirm.
RSVP deadline
RSVPs lock on their own at the deadline, so you know the day before who is coming. People who leave late are reminded that you planned with them.
Gear checklist and level
List the required and recommended gear. Each participant confirms in one tap that they have the required level and will bring the required gear.
Weather go/no-go
When RSVPs lock, and again 48, 24 and 6 hours before the start, the weather card checks the hike window and shows what changed.
Check-in and close-out
Check-in at the meeting point gives you the headcount. You finish the outing only when everyone is accounted for.
Public, connections or invite
Choose who sees each outing: everyone on the map, your connections only, or the people you send an invite link or code.
Announcements and questions
Send announcements to everyone who joined and answer questions in the outing’s thread. Report and Block work there too.
Reliability badges
Next to each name, a badge (new, reliable or no record yet) helps you plan. Attendance counts themselves stay private.

The Organizer plan

For clubs, guides and agencies that run outings every week. It includes everything in WeHike+.

Unlimited outings, up to 100 people
Publish as many upcoming outings as you need, with up to 100 people each, you included. The free plan allows 2 upcoming outings of up to 20 people.
Co-organizers
Add up to 5 leaders and sweepers from your connections. They can edit the outing, manage the list, run check-in and post announcements.
Weekly series and duplicate
Repeat an outing every week in one go, at the same local time even across clock changes, or duplicate an outing in one tap.
Club page
A public page with your logo, region, description, links and upcoming outings. Followers are told when you publish a new public outing, and a verified badge shows that the club is who it says it is.
Attendance
Export the attendee list of an outing and keep the attendance history of your past outings.

If the plan ends, nothing breaks: published outings run to the end with their capacity, co-organizers stay, and your club page stays online.

WeHike adds the verified badge after checking who runs the club. To ask for it, write to hello@wehike.app.
